At this time, we are still hoping that we will be able to host our planned events on 16th June and the 15th July and, of course, we will keep you informed of developments.

We would like to reassure members that all annual membership subscriptions will be rolled over accordingly and that no one will be left out of pocket.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our commercial sponsors and my fellow Board members of the London HR Connection for their continued support and guidance during what is a difficult time for all of us.

I know that – as ever and as we have witnessed in all periods of crisis – the HR sector will step up to the plate and play a crucial role in ensuring that we all come out of this in as good a shape as possible. Please do use the platform of our active LinkedIn group – with circa 3k members – to share best practice.

Welcome to The London HR Connection

HR Forum | Networking | Opportunities

The London HR Connection (LHRC) is a unique forum for the HR community that has been established for many years. We host monthly evening events with high profile guest speakers from the world of business, academia, Government, employment law, trade unions and from both the private and public sectors addressing the hottest topics in HR in this challenging market – and are always open to new ideas and suggestions. We aim to be the premier network for everyone with an interest and involvement in the fascinating world of Human Resources.

Innovative and edgy

We like to be innovative and edgy and some of our recent events have involved jazz musicians, chair yoga experts and dramatic entrances on a giant slide – all with a direct link to the world of HR! We also pride ourselves on the excellent networking environment and opportunities that we have created for our members in the relaxed and friendly environment around the main event – and we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the thousands of pounds we raise for some great causes at our renowned summer and Christmas social events.

Michael Whittington
Director – Head of Employee Screening The Risk Advisory Group plc

My colleagues and I have attended many events over the years We’ve found them to be topical, focused and very informative Excellent networking with industry professionals.

Dominic Alldis
Orchestral Conductor, Jazz Musician, Founder & CEO of Music & Management Ltd.

It was a privilege to be invited to address the London HR Connection. Clearly an amazing organisation representing the very best people development professionals. My speech about music as a metaphor for leadership, collaboration and innovation within business resonated with the audience. This was reflected in the questions and comments afterwards, as well as being asked to work with several of the companies represented.

Chris Lazenby
Deputy Head of HR: Engagement - The British Museum

At the British Museum we’ve been corporate members of the LHRC since 2006. The forum is a fantastic way of keeping up to date with the latest issues and developments in the field, but also of making those connections that might not always be so easy to come by within our own sector.

Jacky Griffiths
Changing Conversations

I just wanted to reach out and say a big thank you to you and the team. I must admit it was perhaps one of the most enjoyable networking events I have been to for a while - both on a personal and professional level. Time and energy is finite and choosing groups that make sense and support keeping oneself professionally relevant is key. You guys certainly achieved that for me.

Catherine Philips
An executive coach

Events and networking can sometimes seem like too much effort. The LHRC is different and is well worth the investment in time and effort. A great chance to learn, meet kindred spirits and laugh too.

Simon Drury
Business Psychologist - Art of Reinvention

The LHRC is a dynamic forum in which I’ve met some very interesting people, been introduced to a number of potential business contacts, attended thought-provoking and educational debates. I commend the group to any HR practitioners and suppliers who want to expand their professional network.
