The London HR Connection is delighted to invite you along to our next live and ‘in person’ networking event that is being kindly sponsored by 10Eighty.

As well as the chance to meet and network face to face over a glass or two of wine and something to eat, we are delighted to say that we will hear from HR industry leaders as they debate and discuss the very latest in the world of coaching.

It is perhaps an understatement to say there has been an exponential growth of coaching in the workplace moving from remedial interventions for those struggling to comes to terms with what is required of them to something offered to organisation superstars (future and present). And now there is the clamour to democratise coaching and provide digital coaching for all employees.

This Q&A session will attempt to cut through all the hyperbole of coaching. We will address many topical issues such as does it work, can you demonstrate ROI, who should get it, the merits of internal versus external coaching, isn’t coaching just for those who can’t hack it and why should we have to pay for coaching because surely, we have hired them to do the job. We will also look at what you should pay for a coach, how long an effective programme should be and isn’t the world and his/her partner now a coach so how can we possibly know what a good coach looks like?

The session will be led by Michael Moran, CEO of 10Eighty and a qualified coach himself. He will be joined by Sherree Schaefer, Chief People and Culture Officer at the UK’s leading payments authority, Pay.UK, and Craig Pattison, Chief People and Technology Officer at the global aviation services group, Air Partner, A Wheels Up Company.

This will be very much an audience participation event, so come armed to ask questions and be ready for an evening of robust but illuminating and hopefully entertaining conversation.
