The London HR Connection is delighted to welcome you along to our next live and ‘in person’ networking event held in conjunction with leading law firm, Kingsley Napley.

As well as the chance to network face to face over a glass or two of wine and something to eat, we will be joined by HR industry leaders and employment law experts to discuss and debate what a Labour government means for the workplace.

The Labour Party has been consistent in expressing its commitment to pass work-related legislation in its first 100 days in office, both in its Manifesto and its standalone document on employment law reform, “Labour’s Plan to Make Work Pay: Delivering A New Deal For Working People”.

Labour’s pre-election proposals include some radical changes to the status quo such as the introduction of certain “day one” rights including protection from unfair dismissal, Statutory Sick Pay and parental leave.

Now that the clock on its first 100 days in office has begun to tick, it will be interesting to see to what extent the new Labour government implements its proposals, many of which would impact employers of all sizes and industries.

Join us and a panel of experts as we delve into the Labour Party’s proposals and what they could mean for business and HR practices.
