You will certainly get value for money at the London HR Connection’s March event – which is really two events in one.
Wellbeing is a subject that is high on the HR agenda today and it’s an issue that we wanted to look at from two diverse, but equally valid, ends of the wellbeing agenda.
Part One
During the first half of our unique wellbeing event, we will take a look at the area of financial wellbeing and have invited two experts to share their perspectives with us.
In a world of falling real wages, diminishing savings and massive intergenerational wealth disparities, many employees today face financial difficulties which have a very real impact on their ability to perform at work.
Rosemary Lemon, Group Head of Reward at Hays, will discuss how Hays has introduced a programme of financial wellbeing for its employees aiming to offer them benefits and information that can assist with increasing their financial capability and wellbeing.
Rosemary will be joined by Patrick FitzGerald, Commercial Director at SalaryFinance, who will talk about the rapid adoption of financial wellbeing solutions across organisations of every different hue, the questions those organisations typically have and the importance of giving employees a route out of debt and into savings.
Part Two
From one end of the wellbeing agenda to the other. The London HR Connection is delighted to welcome the renowned yogi, Jennifer Dale to lead the second half of this unique event. Jennifer will introduce and lead an interactive session of the new concept of Chair Yoga that she has designed especially for those office workers spending long periods at their desks being challenged by poor posture and other physiological problems. Designed to alleviate fatigue and reduce stress, high blood pressure and anxiety, employers will reap the benefits of a wellbeing exercise that helps builds teams, increase productivity and energy and enable individuals to optimise their performance. Jennifer will demonstrate how Chair Yoga can play a key role in helping businesses become happier, more inspiring places to work – without having to leave the office environment.
Jennifer Dale is an established yoga teacher with over 20 years experience. She has travelled the world studying and practicing with internationally renowned yoga teachers and has bought the indisputable benefits of the yoga teaching to many organisations – including the likes of UBS, Freshfields and Imperial College – as well as teaching at health clubs such as The Hurlingham Club and Chelsea Harbour.
