Christmas is fast approaching and I felt it would be a great moment to take stock of 2022 and look ahead to what 2023 will bring to the London HR Connection.

Firstly, we were delighted to resume our live face to face events, post pandemic, and see the return of many familiar faces and many new ones. We held five live events in the latter half of 2022, featuring the CEO of Wagamama, DAC Beachcroft, 10 Eighty, Enboarder and, lastly, Pearson who hosted our wonderful Christmas special event at their iconic offices on the Strand. It was fantastic to rediscover the pleasure of networking over a glass of wine and delicious canapes! We were also delighted to have raised almost £500 for the Refuaid charity thanks to your kind donations to our Christmas event.

We were also pleased to have continued our series of webinars having discovered this format during the Covid era. For many people it’s a preferred way of accessing our content remotely and has attracted both a national and international audience. During 2022 we hosted no fewer than eight webinars on a range of HR topics.

Our attention now turns to 2023 and the year ahead and we are delighted at the prospect of working with both existing and new sponsors to explore the ever changing world of HR. As a member of the LHRC community, we always value your feedback and also your suggestions and ideas for both live events and webinars. Also, if you have speaker recommendations, or can offer a venue for our events, please do get in touch, we are always open to new ideas.
