Welcome to The HR Connection Group and London HR Connection
The HR Connection Group (HRCG) and London HR Connection (LHRC) is a unique forum for the HR community that has been established for over 40 years. We have more than 5,000 online members and provide a thriving community for all those with an interest in HR and people related issues, including HR practitioners, C suite leaders and providers to the HR industry.
We host regular events in a range of formats both daytime and evening and for a range of audiences. Some of our events are tailored for a particular demographic, (e.g. Chief People Officers/HR Directors) whilst others are open to everyone. Some of our larger events attract over 100 attendees whilst others are deliberately limited to smaller groups e.g. private dinners, breakfasts, lunches, roundtable events etc. We also host engaging webinars which have on occasions been attended by several hundred participants
Our events feature an eclectic mix of high profile guest speakers from the worlds of business, academia, Government, employment law, trade unions and from both the private and public sectors addressing the hottest topics in HR. We aim to be the premier network for everyone with an interest and involvement in the fascinating world of human resources.
Building on the success of London HR Connection over many years, we launched the HR Connection Group to focus on building communities in locations beyond London across the UK (e.g. Manchester, Birmingham) and potentially overseas.
Innovative and edgy
We like to be innovative and edgy. Some of our most notable guest speakers have included CEOs and MDs for companies including Time Out, Wagamama, Santander, Simply Health, Stonewall and Eve Sleep; the barrister representing Uber’s case for zero hours contracts; HR Directors for organisations including the BBC, Bupa, Penguin Random House, Air Partner, Waitrose ; and the former captain of England’s rugby sevens team.
Membership of The HR Connection Group is free. Whilst our webinars are free to attend, there is a small charge to attend our face to face networking events. As a not-for-profit organisation, this fee covers our administration costs and enables us to offer refreshments to attendees.
